The four pump tower was developed for our first generation Bioreactors.
The system is powered by four independent high power bipolar/uni-polar stepper motor based drives.
In case of bi-polar drive based pump, each pump has a dedicated micro controller card with L297/L298 drivers. These cards are wired in Rs232 daisy chain configuration. For this configuration, we can also fit the four pump tower with Watson Marlow heads for high flow applications.The pump speed can be custom configured for specific flow requirements also.
In case of uni-polar drive based tower, each pump again has a dedicated micro controller ATTINY2313, however all the four controllers are in-turn controlled by a master micro controller ATMEGA162.
