Pumping accuracy

Mixing unit

The mixer unit is made out of 316 SS. The wetted flow path is Teflon lined. 3 pump ports with special SS fittings having Silicone ferrules.

Reaction column

The reaction column is one meter long Teflon FEP tubing. The column is wound on an Aluminum spool and fixed rigidly.

Gas liquid separator

The main advantages of our hydride generator are the Unique gas liquid separator made of glass. The unit is efficient in separation of the hydride gas from the waste liquid that is effectively drained from the system. A nitrogen jet in case of AAS or alternatively an argon jet is employed to drive the gas into the burner / ICP Plasma. The unit is fitted with standard ferrule fittings

Gas controls

The system is having an on/off toggle switch for protection and a flow meter with needle valve for selection of the required flow settings

Installation requirements

 

(1)   Nitrogen or argon gas cylinder fitted with a two  stage regulator and a control valve.

(2) Boro-hydride & Acids of GR GRADE, double distilled water and the usual glass apparatus for standardization and calibration.
